Since 2006, Garten Custodial has worked within the standards of “Operating System 1 (OS1) Certification” – the first comprehensive cleaning and training program for the custodial industry in the U.S. OS1 processes use non-toxic cleaning compounds, focus on working smarter rather than merely working harder and treat custodial technicians like the first class citizens they are. OS1 simplifies processes while ensuring that all equipment is ergonomically appropriate for long-term physical well-being of our workers. It involves in-depth training based on blood-borne pathogens and the critical relationship of pH to sanitation and health, while standardizing cleaning tools and procedures. Periodics
