DAY BREAK—Day Activities

image

Day Break provides day activity and life enrichment services to seniors and others with disabilities who are unable to or choose not to work full-time.

At Day Break, people meet others who share their interests. They build friendships and enjoy day activities that engage the whole person, as they share ordinary places and experiences, make choices, contribute to the community and experience the respect of others.

Day Break attendees enjoy stimulating activities, a daily exercise program, socialization and supervised outings.

Music therapy encourages participants to interact with others in a creative, familiar an joyful way.

Community excursions offer engaging, enjoyable field trips to parks, events, parades, historic sites and more.

Art projects provide activities that encourage self-expression, relaxation and personal enjoyment.

Community service projects help Day Break participants give back to others—like creating “Love Boxes for the Troops” for service members overseas.

Our person-centered services help Day Break participants fill their days with things they choose to do. Our competent staff ensures that their personal needs are met.
