Our actions increase society's awareness of human potential.

Volunteer for Garten

Volunteerism is a long-standing American tradition that has continued to make an immeasurable impact on individuals, organizations and communities throughout the world. Today’s volunteers are dynamic, active, creative individuals who dedicate their skills, compassion, patience and time to accomplish a wide variety of tasks.

We would love to have you volunteer with us at Garten Services!

Whether you are interested in participating on the planning committee for our annual fundraiser dinner/auction or bringing your expertise to help our job trainees, there is bound to be an environment in which we can utilize your specific skills!
Volunteers are always welcome, and can be helpful in many areas, which include:

  • Spending time with our Day Break program participants to help them remember they are a valued member of the community.
  • Assisting in one of our business enterprises to teach jobs skills to and model appropriate behaviors for our program participants.
  • Offering your office support skills or helping with our annual holiday party or summer picnic.

Volunteering is about giving your time, energy and skills. And unlike many other things in life, volunteering is totally a personal choice. Garten volunteers express a sense of personal achievement and deeper fulfillment; we know that this feeling is ultimately generated from your desire and enthusiasm to help. You can make that little corner of the world where you live just that little bit better by choosing to volunteer.

Volunteering can motivate you, revitalize your dedication and help you remember what’s important in life. Service isn’t a chore, it’s a privilege!
